What Does This Donation Provide?
A large animal sacrifice, when slaughtered with the intention of offering a vow, aqiqah (a newborn baby), healing, or gratitude, becomes not only an act of worship but also a great blessing reaching hundreds of people. Your sacrifices bring abundance to tables and joy to hearts in impoverished regions.
How Are Sacrifices Performed?
Sacrifice of large animals is a valuable act of worship that can be performed with the intention of dividing up to seven shares.
The slaughtering is carried out by qualified individuals, strictly adhering to religious procedures.
The meat is distributed raw to needy families or cooked on-site and served as a meal.
Why These Countries?
In Tanzania, Somalia, and Madagascar, many families have not had access to meat for years. These countries are deeply affected by drought, poverty, and internal conflicts.
Donations of large animal sacrifices in these regions reach a large number of families simultaneously, providing long-term food support.
Islamic Perspective
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:
“Offer sacrifices; for it is the tradition of your father Abraham.”
Sacrificing a large animal is one of the acts of worship that most powerfully represents the spirit of sharing, the power of solidarity, and blessed charity of the Muslim community.
